Hiking, Biking and Driving Trails in Georgia!

GeorgiaTrails now offers four great downloads in addition to the Cartersville-Bartow County brochure with a section on hiking.

The National Park Service's Appalachian Trail printable map in Adobe PDF format is an excellent reference to the overall trail. For specific areas, however, it is best to purchase topographical maps or software.

Trails of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests is a 40-page publication that provides detailed information about 96 trails in Georgia's national forests. It includes directions to the trails. This publication covers hiking trails, horseback riding trails, mountain biking trails, and off-road vehicle trails. The electronic version version of the guide, offered free by GeorgiaTrails and the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests requires Adobe Acrobat, which you can download and install for free.
